Biography:
Caitlyn was formed in the autumn of 1999 and the members from the beginning were Joel Fritzell, Helena Ljungman, Oscar Hallberg and Mattias Kiwinen.
The first months we were very inspired by the swedish pop scene with bands like Popsicle, Kent and Wannadies but later on we got to a more "rough" sound.
In the summer of 2000 Mattias left the band and was replaced by Johanna Magnusson on guitar. This was a good injection for the band and Caitlyn was suddenly re-born.
One year later we recorded our first cd called - Save Yourself. It was released by ourselves in October 2001 and it helped us getting friends and fans all over the country.
In february 2002, Johanna decided to quit the band and Caitlyn were suddenly out of inspiration. After six terrible months with few rehearsals and no new songs written we finally found what we were looking for - a charmy guy named Sebastian Weissbach.
Since that day things are just getting better everyday...
Right now Caitlyn are working on new songs for an upcoming full-lenght album, which hopefully will be released in the autumn of 2004. More info about this will come.
We also released - Save Yourself - in Germany on the great label My Favourite Toy, and in August 2004 we played a summertour in Germany!
