Biography:
Dead Silent Days was started in the late summer of 2000 with the intent to create high quality, sincere rock music without letting other bands or trends guide. During the first year we recruited members, did two studio recordings and played all the shows we were offered. In February 2002 we entered the studio to record our first full-length album Striving for perfection and after being screwed by our record label we went on our first European tour in September. We played in Germany, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Austria and Italy. Needless to say we had a blast and a few month later German label My Favourite Toy decided to sign the band and a summer release of the debut album was scheduled. In the beginning of 2003 we released a split 7 with our friends in the band Amical and a split CDm with Swedish band The Whole Nine Yards and once again went on tour. Striving For Perfection was released in May and about a month later we did yet another tour. 2003 was our best and worst year as a band. We released records and toured Europe but lost some key members. In the end of the summer we were on an extended break witch lasted until January of 2006. We are finally back and are planning to write new songs, record and hit the roads again as soon as we have a new release. We are also looking for new labels to release our stuff, so if you are interested please drop us a line.
